Wow! What a difference a year makes! Last year, at this time, my first graders were 5 years old. As incoming kindergartners, many of them did not know how to write their names. Most of their illustrations involved only one color of crayon and lots of swirly scribbles. That was a year ago.
I spotted this sign at Nordstrom the other day. The Alderwood Mall Nordstrom is hosting a shoe tying class on Saturday, September 21st. You have to call and sign up. If your child hasn’t learned to tie yet, this may be a great way to learn. I believe the class is free and you
