I started thinking about the writing I’d like to see my kindergarten students to do over their vacations and breaks. I had 3 students in Hawaii last week! I tried telling their parents that they needed to take a tutor with them, but I didn’t get invited along.

I made this free printable for my kiddos to take on vacation with them. If you have a kindergarten aged student, you might want to print this for them before any trips you might be taking. I would suggest printing the cover on cardstock, or something heavy. Then, you can print as many lined pages as you’d like. I like to remind my young writers that most of our writing is done with lowercase letters, and that we like to try to stay in the yellow. I don’t expect perfection at this age. I just want kids writing and having fun.
