Hello friends!  I’m so excited to share my news with you!  I’ve been asked to teach at Fairy Dust Teaching’s Summer Institute.  I’ve been reading Sally’s blog for years and she has some wonderful resources on Reggio Inpired schools and classrooms.

I will be teaching a class on Reggio Inspired Literacy in a webinar format.  In this webinar, we’ll examine the importance of providing meaningful experiences for children in the home, classroom, and out in the world.  We’ll find ways to incorporate literacy into our environments that entice children to learn and explore.  I will also share ideas for provocations and displays of books, natural materials, and literacy tools that will spark a child’s sense of wonder and curiosity.  I’ve already gotten started taking photos, gathering some AWESOME new materials, and planning my webinar.  I will be sure to let you know all of the details on how to purchase the full Fairy Dust Teaching Summer Institute as soon as it is available.  Until then, you’ll just have to check out Sally’s blog for more inspiration.
