Bubbles!

Last week, I shared a bubble/poetry writing lesson on my Hilltop Kindergarten Blog.  I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love teaching young writers!  To read the full lesson, click here.

We read this book before our bubble blowing experience, which LOVE!

I found this picture on Pinterest.  When I clicked the link, it wouldn’t take me anywhere.  I’d love to give credit, where credit is due.  If you know where this came from, please let me know.  Anyway, I thought this was a great idea for using with our big bubble kit.

Here’s the Big Bubble Kit from Lakeshore Learning.
Here’s the recipe for bubble refills from the POP! book.
1 part liquid dish soap
1 part corn syrup
9 parts water
If you’re making a small batch, use tablespoons.  If you’re making a big batch for your bubble refill station, use cups.  However you make your bubbles, have fun!
You’re just never to old for bubbles!
